Two seasons a year, and nothing in between
Read the noteWe cut what we can finish. A bolt of cloth arrives, it becomes forty coats or it becomes thirty, and when the run is gone we do not make it again. Repeating a garment is how a small workroom turns into a factory that is bad at being a factory — it is also why the collection is fourteen pieces and not ninety.

Atelier
A table, two machines and a long drying rail
Atelier Norte is four people in a first-floor room in Villa Crespo. We pattern, cut, sew and press in the same space, which is slow and is the only way we know how to be sure of a seam.
Nothing is made in advance for a warehouse. A piece is cut when the cloth arrives and finished when it is finished, and the number we can make in a season is the number that fits on the rail.
Cut from a wool and cashmere melton woven in Trelew, unlined through the body so it moves, and closed with a belt rather than a button so it fits the person and not the size chart. Made in one run of thirty.
